Celebrities Who Cycle

Seeing Kevin Bacon on a bicycle during Quicksilver is something that no cyclist could forget. It was 1986 and he made cycling look good, like really good. But seeing stars riding bicycles is something that the average person doesn’t get to do. New York City residents can walk the streets with their eyes wide open every day and never spot a celebrity on a bike. However, it seems as though whenever a big star chooses to cycle instead of hope in their limousine some of the paparazzi takes notice. For cyclists this is a great thing. The more attention we are able to garner around the sport of cycling the better. Celebs can make cycling look as glamorous as possible and, with any luck, this will only play within our plan to raise awareness and improve the rights of cyclists throughout the nation.

There is something very relatable and humbling about seeing movie stars and other famous people riding around on bicycles.
